Meet Sue

Sue is a retired reading teacher who found her purpose in encouraging struggling readers.

Why Beebe wears a patch

Sue’s own story

Sue’s personal struggle with learning to read while wearing a patch led her to tell the tale of Bumblebunny. Like Beebe, she knows how it feels to be far from ordinary, and how much a kind helper can change everything.
